My intention in creating this blog is to share what I have learned about the profession of webdesign over the course of the past 20 years. I’ll save the full history lesson for another time; suffice it to say, the World Wide Web has evolved into quite a labyrinth and there are so many things to learn and discover as you explore the possibilities of a career in this exciting field.

In this blog, I will focus on topics in the following areas: women in technology, webdesign, web development, information architecture, user experience (UX), and professional and career development. Along the way, I may veer from my course once in awhile and explore other topics, so I hope you like taking the scenic route once in awhile.
