Data Science Jobs Portal - USAJobs Website
In my previous role as Lead of the Data Talent Working Group, I helped orchestrate this microsite in collaboration with Excella Consulting, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). The Data Science Jobs microsite serves as a portal for data scientists who are looking for data science roles in the government. Because there is no job series specifically for data scientists, it can be difficult for qualified individuals to find these types of jobs on the USAJobs website and apply for them. This website is designed to help people understand the necessary qualifications, what types of data projects they can work on, and what it's like to be a data scientist in the government. The microsite leverages new Elasticsearch capabilities and metadata that were recently implemented on USAJobs to highlight federal positions that have a strong data science component. Commerce Data Academy Website
This website was developed using Bootstrap. I was the Lead Front End Engineer for this project, overseeing the development and launch of the website, and I also contributed to the content of the website, including text and photos. Through this new website, Commerce employees can view Commerce Data Academy course offerings, register for classes, and watch previous classes. All of our courses are available and recorded through Web-Ex, so that employees can attend class virtually and review what they learned later. The mission of the Commerce Data Academy is that by educating and empowering Commerce employees, we can help everyone make better data-driven decisions in their own bureaus.
High Value Research Website
I oversaw the launch and post-launch troubleshooting for this website. I worked very closely with the contractor to develop bug fixes and discovered ways that the interface and user experience could be improved based on user feedback.
Transportation Pooled Fund Website
I did not develop the front end design of this website. Instead, I helped to fix some major functionality issues on the backend. I worked side-by-side with a contractor who implemented the fixes, but my role was project manager and I documented the requirements with feedback from the Federal Highways Administration and the State DOTs, holding multiple meetings with the end users of the technology. I also managed the contracting process to amend our existing contract with the contractor and organized and led meetings to discuss what fixes were needed, as well as doing testing of all the fixes on the development server and the production server. I also manage the day-to-day requests for updates to content and creating new user accounts.

Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Responsive Webpage
Brookland Arts Website
This is a full-featured WordPress site, a hybrid between a static website and a dynamic blog for Brookland Area Writers and Artists (BAWA) in Washington, D.C. I developed the site architecture and preliminary content, as well as installing and configuring the CMS. There is also an events calendar to detail upcoming events and a page linked to Mail Chimp where users can subscribe to notifications about events.
Special Committee on Research and Innovation (R&I)/Research Advisory Committee (RAC) Website
I designed the banners and layout of many pages on this site, and I provide ongoing maintenance of the content and structure of the site. This site was migrated to WordPress from SharePoint in 2017 and includes custom-developed plugins to showcase two databases and the dynamic membership rosters for the group.
Research Program and Project Management (RPPM) Website
This is a collaborative/portal website currently on the SharePoint 2013 platform, which was recently migrated from the U.S. DOT/RITA (now OST-R) federal hosting environment to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) servers. I designed the banner for this site, redesigned the footer and some front page elements, and I worked to enrich the metadata and simplify the site's document structure for better searchability and findability. I serve as an intermediary between the contractor and end users for this website, facilitating troubleshooting and creation of user accounts.
Kinetic Bridges Website
This is a business website on the WordPress platform. I developed the content, site architecture, and graphics.

Kevin's Bread Website
I created this Drupal 6 website project as an online bread subscription service for my husband Kevin's Bread company. Site features include a webform for one-time and/or ongoing subscription ordering of bread, a contact form, and theme customization.
DC Federation of Music Clubs Website
This was my first paid gig as a web designer My client was the DC Federation of Music Clubs, but unfortunately, they did not keep their domain registered (http://dcfmc.org), so the site is no longer accessible on the web. This was a redesign of a static HTML website. I designed the site in Drupal 6 and the features included a photo gallery/slideshow, calendar of events, content migrated from the original website, a new navigational structure, embedded PayPal links so individuals could pay their membership dues online, and even a music listening library of recordings of individual members performing.
